![]() ![]() I don't know if its still an issue but changed dynasty coats of arms with the customiser used to revert all the time (I think caused by using a different religion COA style) and I don't know if that one was ever fixed either. That its the one bit that gets the special treatment is a bit odd. The Welsh parts of Mercia could then be either dejure Mercia, or if felt necessary to portray dejure border change better, a new dejure duchy. You could have Powys be titular, or lose the English lands and be a one province duchy, or gain the province from Deheubarth. There are complicated rules concerning intermarriage and the way it affects arms, inheritance and the way it affects arms, and so on. Which is bizarre when there are several fairly easy solutions. It depends on the country, but in England, these would still not be a family coat of arms in the strict sense, although the first son's coat of arms might remain the same. ![]() Sorry if that caused any confusion.īack on topic - TBH, I think the Welsh duchy changes are a little bizarre anyway, given that the rest of the system is basically 'this is static, its a compromise for the sake of gameplay' but the Welsh/English border is apparently the sole place in the world where that isn't acceptable. ![]() I edited my initial post to clarify what I was talking about before I saw the reply - I should really learn how to actually write everything I need to before doing that. ![]()
